मूंग फसल उत्पादन हेतु समग्र सिफारिशें
(हरियाणा, पंजाब, उत्तर प्रदेश व मध्य प्रदेश के लिए)
मूंग का महत्व: मूंग एक उच्च प्रोटीन युक्त दलहनी फसल है। इसमें प्रचुर मात्रा में प्रोटीन, विटामिन एवं खनिज तत्व पाए जाते हैं। वसा की मात्रा कम होने के कारण यह स्वास्थ्यवर्धक एवं सुपाच्य है।
1 भूमि का चयन: मूंग की फसल के लिए दोमट एवं रेतीली दोमट, उपजाऊ तथा अच्छी जल निकासी वाली भूमि सर्वोत्तम रहती है।
2 खेत की तैयारी: एक जुताई मिट्टी पलटने वाले हल से करें, इसके बाद 2 जुताई डिस्क हैरो से करें, अंत में सुहागा लगाकर खेत समतल करें।
3️ बीज की मात्रा: खरीफ मौसम: 5 किग्रा प्रति एकड़, जायद मौसम: 8 किग्रा प्रति एकड़ (प्रमाणित या टी.एल. बीज का प्रयोग करें)
4️ बीज उपचार: बीज को राइजोबियम कल्चर से उपचारित करें। इसके लिए 50 ग्राम गुड़ को 200 ग्राम पानी में घोलें एक एकड़ के बीज पर कल्चर मिलाकर छाया में सुखाएं। इससे तक उपज बढ़ने की संभावना रहती है।
5️ फफूंदनाशी उपचार: राइजोबियम उपचार से पहले बीज को थाइरम @ 3 ग्राम प्रति किग्रा बीज से उपचारित करें।
6 बुवाई का समय: खरीफ: जुलाई का प्रथम पखवाड़ा, जायद: मार्च माह
7️ अनुशंसित किस्में: MH-421, MH-1142, विशाल, वीर (प्राइम सीड्स)
8️ बुवाई की विधि: फसल बिखेरकर न बोएँ (खरीफ में: 45 × 10 सेमी दूरी, जायद में: 35 × 10 सेमी दूरी, बुवाई की गहराई: 5–6 सेमी)
9️ उर्वरक प्रबंधन: मूंग में राइजोबियम जीवाणु नाइट्रोजन स्थिरीकरण करते हैं, अतः—
नाइट्रोजन: 5 किग्रा (लगभग 11 किग्रा यूरिया/एकड़)
फास्फोरस: 16 किग्रा (सिंगल सुपर फास्फेट)

10 खरपतवार नियंत्रण: वासालिन 45 EC @ 600 मि.ली. या ट्राइफ्लुरालिन 48 EC @ 800 मि.ली.200 लीटर पानी में घोल बनाकर छिड़काव करें इसके बाद बुवाई करें
11 सिंचाई प्रबंधन आवश्यकता अनुसार सिंचाई करें जलभराव न होने दें वर्षा का पानी खेत में अधिक देर न ठहरने दें।
12 प्रमुख रोग एवं कीट प्रबंधन: पीला मोजेक वायरस इसका कोई उपचार नहीं, केवल रोकथाम संभव रोग सफेद मक्खी से फैलता है।
13 नियंत्रण हेतु छिड़काव: रोगोर 30 EC @ 250 मि.ली. या कॉनफीडोर @ 40 मि.ली./एकड़ 200 लीटर पानी में, 2–3 बार
हानिकारक कीट: बालदार सुंडी: एटालिस 25 EC @ 500 मि.ली., हरी/लूंगड़ी सुंडी: न्यूवान @ 200 मि.ली., 100–200 लीटर पानी में घोलकर छिड़काव करें।
COMPREHENSIVE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR MOONG CROP PRODUCTION
(For Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh)
Importance of Moong: Moong is a high-protein pulse crop. It contains a good amount of protein, vitamins, and minerals. Due to its low fat content, it is healthy and easy to digest.
1. Selection of Land: Loamy and sandy loam soils that are fertile and well-drained are best for moong cultivation.
2. Field Preparation: Plough the field once with a mouldboard plough, then do 2 ploughings with a disc harrow. Finally, level the field using a plank (suhaga).
3. Seed Rate: Kharif season: 5 kg per acre, Zaid season: 8 kg per acre (Use certified or TL seeds)
4. Seed Treatment (Rhizobium Culture): Treat seeds with Rhizobium culture. Dissolve 50 g jaggery in 200 g water, mix with culture, coat one acre’s seeds, and dry in shade. This helps increase yield.
5. Fungicide Treatment: Before Rhizobium treatment, treat seeds with Thiram @ 3 g per kg of seed.
6. Sowing Time: Kharif: First fortnight of July, Zaid: March
7. Recommended Varieties: MH-421, MH-1142, Vishal, Veer (Prime Seeds)
8. Method of Sowing: Do not broadcast seeds. Kharif spacing: 45 × 10 cm, Zaid spacing: 35 × 10 cm, Sowing depth: 5–6 cm.
9. Fertilizer Management Rhizobium bacteria fix nitrogen in moong, so: Nitrogen: 5 kg (about 11 kg urea per acre), Phosphorus: 16 kg (Single Super Phosphate). Apply fertilizers as per soil test for best results.
10. Weed Control: Apply Vasalin 45 EC @ 600 ml or Trifluralin 48 EC @ 800 ml in 200 liters of water before sowing.
11. Irrigation Management: Irrigate as required. Avoid waterlogging. Do not allow rainwater to remain in the field for long.
12. Major Diseases and Pest Management: Yellow Mosaic Virus: No direct treatment is available. Only prevention is possible. It spreads through whitefly.
13. Control Measures (Spray) For whitefly: Rogor 30 EC @ 250 ml or Confidor @ 40 ml per acre in 200 liters of water, spray 2–3 times.
Harmful Pests: Hairy caterpillar: Etalis 25 EC @ 500 ml, Green/semilooper caterpillar: Nuvan @ 200 ml, Mix in 100–200 liters of water and spray.
